Now, let’s talk about something sweet, something delicious, something that makes your heart flutter.

After all, you don’t just go to Aoyama for the aesthetics alone, even thought that is a pretty amazing part of the experience.

Let’s look at some of Aoyama’s wonderful edible flower desserts. Just like the beautiful flora that surrounds you, the desserts too, are inspired by flowers.

These are not just desserts; they are edible art pieces, a perfect blend of taste and aesthetics. Isn’t it exciting to try not just yummy treats, but yummy and pretty treats? (It’s camera time, I know).

Aoyama’s signature treat – The Flower Parfait (990 yen) : fresh fruits, damask rose jelly, fresh cream, cherry mousse, vanilla ice cream, and crunchy granola, topped with delicate edible flower petals and tiny rose buds

Start with one of their signatures : The Flower Parfait (990 yen, around 6.80 USD) – a heavenly combination of fresh fruits, fragrant damask rose jelly, delicate fresh cream, cherry mousse, vanilla ice cream, and crunchy granola, topped with delicate edible flower petals and tiny rose buds that add a pop of color and flavor.

Each parfait is a work of art in itself, with layers of goodness that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.

If you are into French Toasts, there are multiple delicious options : The savory French toast option comes with hearty bacon and grilled seasonal vegetables. For those with a sweet tooth, choose between French toast served with honey and fresh cream, or their signature and oh-so-pretty Flower Crown French Toast, which is served with seasonal fresh fruits, flower jelly, and decorated with organically grown fresh herbs and edible flowers, and decorated to look entirely like a beautiful flower crown.

Imagine biting into a moist piece of French toast, dusted with powdered sugar, and taste a hint of that refreshing and aromatic rose jelly.

And it’s not just about the taste and the beauty of these desserts. It’s also about the joy of discovering new flavors, the surprise of finding a hint of lavender in your cake, or the delight of tasting the subtle flavor of rose in your jelly.

Tea Time : A Delicious Experience

Aoyama Flower Market Tea House source all of their fresh herbs from Shimota Farm, an organic herb farm whose carefully selected and safe organic farming methods and reliable cultivation technology had won it the Japan Agricultural Award.

For herbal tea and dried flower products, the tea house partners with Enchanté Japon, a French specialty tea store, which offers skillfully and carefully selected high-quality tea leaves, flowers, fruits, spices, and natural fragrances.

The tea menu at Aoyama is as diverse and delightful as its greenhouse, from the classic to the exotic flower-infused teas : We have the original blend of spearmint, marjoram, rosemary, and lemongrass, or rose black tea with rose petals, or Earl Grey tea with sweet blue cornflower petals, and more.

For those who are not into tea, there are fruit juices (orange, grape, and other seasonal choices), as well as different types of soda as well.

And while you savor your tea and desserts, you can also enjoy the view of the beautiful greenhouse. The soothing ambiance, the aroma of the tea, the delicious sweet treats, and the view of the lush greenery is an experience that you will take with you and cherish long after you leave Japan.
